Damn, I love my coffee, but I hate oppression more

I just read this article and I can’t unread it….eh unknow it and I wish it weren’t true. But you know how when you read or hear something and something inside just says “ah yeah, that’s truth”….damnit.

Here’s a quote from the article “ In the United States, the largest consumer of coffee worldwide, what was once an exotic luxury is now so entrenched in the culture as to be considered a staple.[3] Unfortunately, coffee is tied to a long history of colonialism and slavery,[4] and production of the crop remains a hotbed of exploitation and environmental degradation to this day.”
