Walk in my Purpose
We all have a purpose to be here. Some may seem bigger than others, but we each have an important place in this world.
I wake up in the morning and ask (whoever is listening, like spirit guides or god or angels, whatever) to be shown what I need to see for the day. I welcome the experiences because I feel like really we are here for a purpose, whatever that is.
Some say that we made a deal before being born, we chose who are parents would be, what land we would be born on, what purpose we would have. And along the way, we forgot what that was. Usually our parents or rather the adults taught us to forget it. Thinking that we must be prepared for the real world and put away childish, disruptive behavior such as just being loud and free.
I’ve noticed myself doing it to my kids. Sigh. I hate that. When I see myself doing it, I try to stop in that moment and collect myself as I realize that I’m the one need regulating and that they are just being happy and carefree…..I should let them and help them to not forget that deal that they made before coming to be my little loves.
A month ago I saw a very cool man talk about how he loved his job as a community doctor because he felt that he was “Walking in his Purpose” I was like, holy hell, that’s it!!!
So I’ve been asking that same. Trying to remember what deal I made before coming here.
Now, I say a few times during the day, “I walk in my Purpose” I go further and say “I flourish in my gifts and I live in my passions” That’s another few gems that the doctor spoke about.
I don’t fully know or remember my purpose, nor the bounty of my gifts and I don’t fully live in my passion just yet, but I believe I am on the right path.
I encourage you to do the same thing.
Breathe in “I walk in my purpose”
Breathe out “I flourish in my gifts”
Breathe in “I live in my passions”
Breathe out “I am grateful for this life”
Love to you all! Let’s all remember
